Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

This creates a binding contract between players, parents, coaches, managers, (spectators and guests of any "member"), and Board Members of Twin Hills ASA Softball, which will be referred to collectively as "members" of the league in the remainder of this contract. The purpose of this contract is to ensure that all "members" of the league represent Twin Hills ASA Softball in a manner appropriate for a girl's softball league, and provide a safe and healthy environment for the children of the league. Any "member" of the league who violates any of the rules embedded in this document can have their ability to either play or attend games at Twin Hills Youth and Recreation Park, or any other facility in which Twin Hills ASA Girl's Softball teams are playing revoked by the Board Directors.
The following rules and regulations are imposed on members of Twin Hills ASA Softball:


Rule #1 Use of Alcohol or Drugs while participating in Twin Hills ASA related events:
Any "member" consuming alcoholic beverages or drugs during league play while performing their duties as set forth will be banned from participating in the respected duties for a period not exceeding 12 months from date of the incident. All "members" consuming alcoholic beverages or drugs during a period of travel while leading teams that play GSF or tournaments will be banned indefinitely. Any "member" observed consuming alcoholic beverages on Twin Hills Youth & Recreation Park property will be given a warning if more than one warning given it will constitute a breach of the Code of Conduct and subject to banning from the park for both themselves and their children that play at Twin Hills Youth Park.


Rule #2 Obscene or profane language, etc:
Any "member" at either league functions or games who verbally abuses officials, players, coaches, managers, spectators, or the Board of Directors including the use of obscene or profane language or gestures or racial, ethnic or sexual slurs, may be banned from Twin Hills ASA Girls Softball for a period of 12 months from the date of the incident.


Rule #3 Fights, scuffles, etc.
Any "member" at any Twin Hills ASA Girls Softball event who initiates a fight. scuffle, or any type of physical abuse or threats of abuse towards any player, coach, official, parent or spectator shall be banned from attendance at all youth sports events within Twin Hills Youth & Recreation Park of San Diego 


Rule #4 Entering the field of play
Any "member" at any league or travel games who enters the field of play, for the purpose of physically or verbally abusing or confronting coaches, managers, players, Board members, or officials shall be banned from attendance at Twin Hills ASA Softball events for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of the incident.


Rule #5 Throwing objects on field of play
Any "member" at any league games who throws or causes to be deposited any object on the field of play may be banned from attendance at all league and/or travel games for Twin Hills ASA Softball for a period of 12 months from date of incident.
Rule #6 Authority of field officials, etc
Any "member" including guest spectators of a "member" at any league or travel games shall be subject to the authority of all field officials, including umpires and elected league officials of Twin Hills Youth & Recreation Park, elected league officials of Twin Hills ASA Softball. Such authority shall include the authorization to direct any person or persons involved in any incident in violation of this article to immediately remove themselves from the premises.
Please come prepared to cheer for your child and your team. Make sure you do root positively, and please do not put down other children that are trying to enhance their skills and enjoy the game of softball.

Refund Policy:

- NO REFUNDS will be issued except for injury or medical necessity (proof of injury/illness; i.e., current x-rays, medical note signed by a physician required as proof) and military move/deployment.

- All other requests for refunds due to extenuating circumstances will be judged on a case-by-case basis by the Twin Hills Softball Board and are not guaranteed.

- All issued refunds will be assessed a $40.00 administration fee per player.
